What is this?

Every year tens of thousands of people make the same journey, and every one of them comes home with a phone full of it. Then it sinks into camera rolls and group chats and is gone.

UmanAlive is one place for all of it — laid out the way the trip itself goes, from the packing to the way home — so that someone who was there can live it again, and someone who has never been can feel what it is.

There is no organization behind this and no name on it. It is made of what people send in. Everything is looked at before it goes up, photos have their location data removed, and anyone who appears in something can ask for it to come down.
